BSBoth Sides

Our Editorial Promise

Every reading on Both Sides is written under five rules. They are not marketing copy — they are the constraints our writers and engineers actually work inside. If we ever break one, this page comes down, and so should your trust in us.

  1. 1. No fear marketing

We will never use doom, curses, or "warnings" to keep you coming back. No "a difficult transit is approaching — subscribe to find out when." No countdown timers on your fate. The astrology industry runs on anxiety; we would rather have fewer users than run on it too. If a reading is heavy, we say so plainly and tell you what people have historically done with that pattern — we never leave you scared on purpose.

  2. 2. No certainty

Our readings are reflection, framed as possibilities — never fixed fate. BaZi and the I Ching are pattern-reading systems with millennia of continuous use, and we take the craft seriously. But no chart can tell you what will happen, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling something. When we write "this suggests" or "people with this pattern often," that hedging is not a legal shield — it is the honest state of the art.

  3. 3. Your birth data is yours

Your birth details are encrypted at rest with AES-256, never sold, and never shared with advertisers. When you ask a live AI question about your chart, the request contains only the chart structure — pillars, elements, cycles. Your name, birth date, and birth place are never sent to any AI provider. And if you delete your account, everything we hold about you is gone. Not archived, not anonymized-and-kept — gone.

  4. 4. Honest pricing

Most of what you read here is pre-written and cached — composed once by our practitioners, then served to everyone it fits. That costs us almost nothing to deliver, and we price it accordingly. Only live AI questions are metered, because those genuinely cost per use. We will always show you what something costs before you pay, and we will never blur the line between the two to make a cached paragraph feel like a live reading.

  5. 5. Entertainment, not advice

Nothing on Both Sides is medical, financial, or legal advice — ever. Not the daily forecast, not the compatibility verdict, not the AI Q&A. If you are facing a health decision, a money decision, or a legal one, talk to a qualified professional. Use us the way people have used these systems for three thousand years: as a mirror to think with, not a map to obey.

The legal detail behind the data promises lives in our Privacy Policy.
