Revolution is meeting Opposition — estrangement within the new order. The coalition that won the transformation is splitting; former allies are now opponents; the shared enemy is gone and the shared vision turns out to have been different visions all along. Fire climbing, lake sinking. Forcing a false unity now just speeds the fracture. Find the one principle the estranged parties still share — one value, one commitment, one memory of what the revolution was for — and work only that. Small shared ground does what grand reunification attempts can't. Some revolutionary alliances don't survive the winning; that's a fact about coalitions formed against something rather than for something. The revolution's essential work isn't hostage to every former friendship.
